Expo City

Expo City Dubai occupies the site of Expo 2020 Dubai, retaining a recognisable network of public spaces and landmark buildings. Al Wasl Plaza remains its central meeting place; Terra explores sustainability, while Alif presents the story of mobility. The Sustainability and Mobility districts contain this legacy architecture alongside workplaces and visitor attractions. This is an existing urban setting that continues to gain new residential neighbourhoods.

The housing offer has several different settings. Expo Valley groups villas, townhouses, low-rise apartments and custom-home plots around a planned landscape of green spaces, a lake and a nature reserve. Expo Central is the umbrella name used for Mangrove and Sky Residences; Sidr adds another apartment development in Expo Downtown. Al Waha converts former Expo buildings into apartments and duplex lofts beneath the original canopies. Building height, outdoor space and delivery stage therefore vary substantially across the area.

Expo 2020 station serves the city on Dubai Metro’s Red Line. The final walk or onward journey depends on the selected building, especially for homes in Expo Valley. Existing cultural attractions, business premises and public spaces should be distinguished from facilities shown only in future development plans. Nearby Expo Living is an Emaar development with its own projects and delivery schedules; it is distinct from Expo City Dubai’s residential portfolio.
