SRG Tower

SRG Tower is a residential and retail development in the Burj Khalifa area, on the Sheikh Zayed Road side of Downtown Dubai. The project is developed by SRG Holding, with architecture by Killa Design. Its distinctive external diagrid gives the tower a recognisable expression and forms an important part of the structural and environmental design, rather than acting only as decoration on a glazed façade.

The architectural concept combines apartments with shared gardens and resident facilities. Three sky gardens create green communal spaces within the tower. A resort-style swimming pool, a lobby with a café and multipurpose rooms form part of the planned amenities. An adjacent parking building supports the residential use, while retail introduces a commercial component at the same address.

Killa Design’s proposal also includes photovoltaic panels on the southeast and southwest façades and two wind turbines near the top of the building. A rooftop viewing platform is integrated into that upper design. These features describe the project’s architectural intentions. The diagrid, façade shading and sky gardens work together within an approach concerned with wind, structure, solar exposure and shared outdoor space.

The Downtown setting brings the project into the wider district of the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Opera, shopping and business destinations. The Sheikh Zayed Road frontage gives it a different urban relationship from towers directly on the central boulevard. SRG Tower is listed as under construction within the developer’s portfolio. It adds a large-scale residential and retail scheme to a group whose existing Dubai properties include mixed-use towers, apartment buildings and hotels.
